This prestigious recognition highlights more than three decades of professional career<\/strong>, marked by dedication, scientific rigour and a constant commitment to health, injury prevention and sporting performance at the highest level. Dr Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Villal\u00f3n<\/strong> has established himself as a leading figure in sports medicine<\/strong>, combining clinical excellence with a holistic approach to the care of the athlete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For OAFI, this award has a very special meaning. Dr Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Villal\u00f3n is a patron of OAFI, a key figure for our organisation<\/strong>, and an indispensable expert voice in driving initiatives that promote joint and musculoskeletal health in the sporting sphere. His active involvement, scientific judgement and human commitment have been instrumental in strengthening the project and its future prospects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likewise, Dr Villal\u00f3n is co-director of OAFI Sport and scientific co-director of the \u2018Articulando el Deporte\u2019 Congress<\/strong>, a leading forum that fosters dialogue among professionals in medicine, sport and research.
