The Spanish Society of General and Family Doctors (SEMG) held its 25th National Congress from 31 May to 2 June 2018, in Valencia, Spain. With the slogan ’25 years of Values, Science and Competencies’, the congress was attended by more than 2,500 participants and included an update ono all therapeutic areas or primary care, especially in those where there are new developments.

The symposium: “Osteoarthritis and Comorbidities: latest evidence of efficacy and safety” brought osteoarthritis to the Congress, highlighting the most important aspects of this pathology in terms of risk factors, treatment and prevention and the importance of the patient in all the processes that may affect her/him.

OAFI was present at the congress informing about all our projects to improve the quality of life of people who suffer from osteoarthritis: “Let’s talk about Joint Health”, “Patient Expert”, “OAFI Woman” and “OAFI Sport”, among others.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Mercedes Otero, Dr. Antonio Fernández Pro-Ledesma, President SEMG, Dr. Benjamín Abarca, Councillor SEMG, Dr. Juan Antonio Martín Jiménez, SEMG arthrosis group and Dr. Carlos Bastida to our stand.
