From OAFI we participate in the realization and dissemination to patients of European research and development projects, within the field of Joint Health and all the variables associated with it.

Below, you can find the projects in which we actively participate:

Preventomics

Preventomics

Project funded by the European Union within the H2020 framework focused on nutrigenomics, with the aim of finding personalized solutions capable of improving the health of people, particularly those suffering from chronic diseases.

Entities from the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Italy and Denmark collaborate in the study. OAFI is responsible for disseminating the results of the project on social networks and websites in order to raise awareness in the general population, taking into account the demands of patients. Project funded by the European Union within the H2020 framework focused on the development of personalized implants based on collagen and gelatin manufactured with 3D technology for patients with tendinopathy such as partial ruptures of the Achilles tendon and cartilage lesions, and for patients with osteoarthritis.

Entities from the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom and Sweden collaborate in the study. OAFI is responsible for creating communities aware of the new concepts of regenerative medicine. Likewise, we have carried out a review of the literature to analyze the socioeconomic and individual factors that can influence the quality of life of patients with tendinopathy, in order to collect information to prepare a Focus Group of patients with tendinopathy and osteoarthritis. . Carrying out these working groups will allow us to analyze the experience, vision, expectations and needs of these patients and evaluate their knowledge about the disease and regenerative therapies, so that we can make proposals to improve the acceptability of the therapeutic options proposed by the project.
